“This ain’t fair!” Hoggle sniffed, large tears rolling down his red face, and wrung his hands.
“Shut up,” Jareth growled through gritted fangs. “This is my moment, Hogwart, not yours. It’s not too late for me to make you the Prince -- “
Hoggle nodded as Jareth was caught by a spasm of coughing. His wings fluttered weakly all around him.
“As the last order of your King,” he finally managed to speak again, “I dub thee, Sir Didymus,” he laid a hand on the loyal Knight’s furry head, “the new King.”
The whole kingdom wailed as their King closed his eyes.
